Format Changes Coming To WWE LFG Season 3

Season three of WWE LFG on A&E is currently in production, and some changes are coming to the show’s lineup. According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kevin Owens and Natalya have been cast as mentors for the new season, joining returning coaches Booker T and Bully Ray.

The report also indicates that the show’s format is undergoing some adjustments. “The site was told that the show format is slightly changing, and the plan is to have more guest stars,” Johnson noted. Filming for the third season began this past week, though a premiere date on A&E has not yet been announced.

Owens’ involvement comes as he continues his recovery from neck surgery earlier this year. In early November, the former Universal Champion posted a video of himself training at the WWE Performance Center, signaling progress in his rehabilitation. His role as a mentor on LFG keeps him involved with the company’s developmental system while he works toward an in-ring return.

WWE LFG showcases aspiring WWE talent competing for a contract. Previous winners include Tyra Mae Steele and Jasper Troy from season one, and Shiloh Hill and Dani Sekelsky (Skylar Raye) from season two.
