Former AEW star expected back in WWE as soon as tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw

WWE will be kicking off 2024 in a big way tomorrow night with the Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw.

WWE has stacked tomorrow night’s card and it’s expected that a former (actually current star for a few more hours) will be making his WWE return on the show. As of this writing, the following is advertised for Raw:

– World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will defend against Drew McIntyre

– Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax in their first singles match since Jax busted Lynch’s nose open a few years ago

– Rhea Ripley vs. Ivy Nile

– Tegan Nox and Natalya vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Many fans who keep up with wrestling news on social media already know that Andrade El Idolo has finished up with AEW and is headed back to WWE. PWInsider has confirmed that the expectation internally is that he will be back as soon as tomorrow night. Andrade was advertised for at least one GCW show in 2024 but he has been pulled from those ads, which is a pretty good indication that he’s WWE-bound. Tony Khan addressed Andrade’s AEW departure during the Worlds End post-show press conference. See below.
