It’s looking like Bea Priestley will be joining WWE in the near future.
Priestley worked her last Stardom date at Sunday’s show where she challenged Utami Hayashishita for the World of STARDOM Championship but was defeated. Post-match, she cut a promo about her love for Utami, and the promotion. She ended it by thanking the promotion and revealing this was her last date.
During today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that since he knows Bea is not headed back to AEW and moving back to the UK, she could be headed to WWE to work on the NXT UK brand.
“She has not signed with Stardom, she has not signed with New Japan, she is moving back to the UK. She has not told anyone what she is doing next which makes them think it’s WWE because if it’s not then we would probably know. I can tell you for sure it’s not AEW, so it’s probably WWE UK. I can’t say that 100%, but that’s certainly what everyone in Japan feels.”
Meltzer brought up WWE being interested in signing her since she went to NJPW. She worked for AEW from 2019-2020. Priestley was released from AEW last August then went to NJPW to be paired with Will Ospreay. Bea had a WWE tryout back in 2016.
