Former Impact Wrestling star to debut next week on WWE NXT

Former Impact Wrestling/ROH star Alex Shelley will make his WWE NXT debut next week as he will team with Kushida as part of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Shelley and Kushida wrestled as the Time Splitters several years ago in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

It was also announced for next week that Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne will team up to take on Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster. In 2 weeks, Keith Lee will challenge Roderick Strong for the North American Championship. Lee became the number 1 contender by winning a Four-way match this week that also featured Damian Preist, Cameron Grimes and Dominik Dijakovic.

On this week’s show, Imperium members Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner advanced in the Dusty Classic tournament by defeating Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler of The Forgotten Sons. Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly advanced by defeating Mark Coffey and Wolfgang from NXT UK.
