Shane Strickland is the latest WWE signee to get a new name.
At Thursday night's NXT live event in Largo, Florida, he was introduced as Isaiah Scott. He has yet to change his name on Twitter so this change must have been made by WWE in the last several hours.
Strickland previously wrestled for Major League Wrestling, Evolve Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling among other promotions. In Lucha Underground, he wrestled under the name Killshot. He signed a deal with WWE in April after finishing up with MLW last December.
As noted earlier, the other name change today is TJP. He will not be known as Joaquin Wilde. He pinned Kona Reeves in his WWE/NXT debut in Largo, Florida.
