It looks like WWE has locked down a wrestler to a contract with the company as they move closer to the new year, where they look to build on the success that they’ve had in 2023 with record business across all key metrics, whether that be revenue, television ratings and historic gates for live events.
WWE has already locked down media rights deals for NXT on the CW Network and SmackDown with the USA Network. They’ve been able to make the NXT brand to being a hot commodity among fans, something they had been missing for years following the success of the black and gold brand before AEW launched in 2019.
Talent signing
Pwinsider reports Madi Wrenkowski was at the WWE Performance Center last week and is believed to have signed a WWE NXT deal.
Since breaking into the wrestling business in 2019, she has worked for promotions including Mission Pro Wrestling, Hurricane Pro Wrestling, SWE, and others.
Wrenkowski made her debut in All Elite Wrestling on the December 22 episode of AEW Dark by putting over Leyla Hirsch. She’s also made other AEW appearances.
Wrenkowski held the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championships as part of M95 with Missa Kate. Her last NWA match was in August.
