Former NXT star Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan comments on his WWE release

Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan has made his first comments since his WWE release on Sunday.

As previously reported, he was let go due to a policy issue. It was added that WWE might bring him back next year.

Donovan took to Twitter to comment on being let go by writing: “Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned. A bump in the road doesn’t define me though. I’ll be back.”

Donovan signed with WWE earlier this year before making his NXT debut in April. He was later aligned with Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo on the developmental brand.

In recent weeks, Donovan had been featured on television as part of the D’Angelo Family including a match at NXT In Your House on June 4 where he, D’Angelo, and Lorenzo defeated Legado Del Fantasma with a stipulation that the losing team would have to join the winning team’s stable.
