WWE held an NXT live event on Thursday in Tampa, FL at the University Area CDC Gymnasium. At this show, former ROH (Ring of Honor) star Karen Q made her in-ring debut on the yellow brand.
She took part in the 2018 Mae Young Classic but lost to Xia Li in the first round and was recently announced as part of the new Performance Center recruits.
Karen Q teamed with Lacey Lane but they lost to Aliyah & Vanessa Borne in a tag team match. After the match, Karen Q laid out Lane. She commented on her debut by posting the following on her official Twitter account:
I made my @WWENXT Live debut and my “tag partner” hits me in the face. All I can say is she got what she deserved. #AsianInvasion https://t.co/iM7EIFawuu
