Former WWE Creative team member Chris DeJoseph has made his first comments since his departure from the company.

Last month it was reported that DeJoseph was let go despite the fact that he had just returned to the company in December 2019.

Although there were various stories going around as to why exactly he was let go, the latest update came out on Friday from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Per the report, DeJoseph said things that he shouldn’t have in a Zoom conference call with Stan Stansky, the Senior Vice President of Creative Services, and Kevin Moore, the Senior Vice President of E-Commerce and Venue Merchandise.

It was noted that some versions came off to them in a bad way, which got back to Vince McMahon, who decided to let him go as a result. For more on this story, click here.

DeJoseph took to his official Twitter account on Saturday morning where he wrote the following:

“Totally dodged a bullet. #Raw #SmackDownOnFox. After ten years away wasn’t really into giving my life to the unpredictable whims of one person. But I believe in @bruceprichard and his vision. Life is better than no life.”
