With the WWE Evolution 2 premium live event just around the corner, plans for the card are beginning to come together, including a major team-up for the SmackDown brand.
According to a report from Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, two of the brand’s biggest stars, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, will represent SmackDown in the Women’s Tag Team match at the all-women’s event.
The report states that WWE is looking to stack the card for the returning PLE with as much star power and “dream match potential” as possible, and the pairing of two of the most decorated women in the company’s history certainly fits that bill.
While the match has not been officially announced on WWE programming, it’s expected to be shortly. You can learn more about a major match that was revealed for Evolution at the SmackDown tapings here.
