WWE will present a big episode of SmackDown tonight, which will serve as the season premiere and the fallout edition from last Saturday’s Fastlane. It will also kick start the build to the Crown Jewel PLE next month in Saudi Arabia.
WWE has confirmed several things for the show including appearances by Triple H & John Cena, the return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso hosting an open challenge
Pwinsider reports former NWA World Champion Nick Aldis will officially make his debut as he is slated to portray a new authority figure going forward. It’s unclear whether this relates to Triple H’s announcement.
The former NWA/TNA star has been shadowing to become a producer for the company for the last few months.
