Former WWE Announcer Comes Out Of Retirement For One Night

Former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin recently made a notable public appearance, her first since leaving WWE, not for a wrestling event, but to introduce the legendary Stevie Wonder. This special occasion took place at the Las Vegas Raiders’ second annual Silver & Black Gala at Allegiant Stadium.

Irvin, who officially left WWE in October 2024, saying she wanted different kinds of chances in the company, shared her excitement about the evening on her Instagram.

“Came out of retirement for an evening to introduce the GENIUS that is Stevie Wonder! What a surreal, once in a lifetime experience,” she wrote, thanking the Raiders for the opportunity which supported Mental Health.

After departing WWE, where she hoped for a role as a manager or General Manager but did not enjoy announcing, Irvin has been focusing on her singing career.

While Irvin is currently enjoying her time away from wrestling, the door for a return might not be completely closed.
