Former WWE Creative Writer Is Returning To The Company In A New Role

As WWE enters the new year, there have been changes, with the company moving SmackDown to three hours and Raw shifting over to the Netflix era. However, a former name is back in the company.

Jim Smallman, who worked on the WWE NXT Creative Team before announcing his departure several weeks ago, is back. He revealed on his LinkedIn account that he has returned to the company, working as an international talent scout. He issued the following statement:

“Delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as International Talent Scout at WWE! Have loved my six years of working for WWE so far, and it’s wonderful that I can now combine being back in the UK for my family with still contributing to the business that I adore so much. With every WWE show playing on Netflix here in Europe, it’s a very exciting time for wrestling on this continent so I am very much looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”

In addition to being a senior writer and producer for the NXT brand, he is also the former creative director of NXT UK. Before going to WWE, he founded PROGRESS Wrestling in the UK.
