Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan were the first to follow the buzzards on WWE television as they spread their message of strange consequences and veiled threats while advising opponents to “run.” But it turns out there was an idea to make the Wyatt Family more than just three brothers in arms because there were plans to bring in a Wyatt sister as well.
Former WWE writer Tom Casiello discussed a very interesting idea they kicked around WWE creative on The Agenda Podcast. Apparently, Kaitlyn was pitched to be part of The Wyatt Family when WWE was bringing them up from NXT.
Casiello said Kaitlyn had nothing else going for her and some backstage pitched her to be part of the stable. If the plans went through the belief was she might have been Sister Abigail. It’s often been hypothesized by fans how Kaitlyn would have made a good Sister Abigail character and it seems this story backs up that idea.
Just imagine how different The Wyatt Family’s programs would have been if Sister Abigail would have been in their midst instead of Bray’s creepy tales? It would have also been enlightening to see Sister Abigail not take the form of Bray Wyatt wearing a veil, but since a viral infection seemed to cancel that angle at TLC from coming to any kind of fruition, perhaps WWE could revisit the idea down the line?
