Former WWE/ECW Star Says He Was In A Car Accident And Is Asking For Funds So He Can Get Home

Former WWE and ECW star Justin Credible (PJ Polaco) has reached out to fans for financial assistance after being involved in a car accident last week. In a social media post, Polaco stated that he was in a hospital in Philadelphia following the accident on Thursday night and, after being discharged, found himself without the funds to get home.

“I hate to ask. I know a lot of u have certain feelings about me but Thursday night I got into an accident,” Polaco wrote. “I’ve been in Philadelphia at a hospital since then. I’ve been discharged, but I don’t have gas money to get home or tolls if there’s any way you guys can bless me”.

The request for help comes after a long and public battle with personal issues for the former champion. Polaco has been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, a journey that has included multiple arrests and stints in WWE-sponsored rehab. His issues have been well-documented over the years, with a number of public incidents at independent wrestling shows and several legal troubles stemming from his addiction.

In past interviews, Polaco has spoken candidly about his battle, thanking WWE for their support in his recovery efforts and citing figures like Diamond Dallas Page and Jake “The Snake” Roberts as sources of help. Despite periods of sobriety, he has admitted to relapses, particularly with alcohol, acknowledging the difficulty of his long-term recovery.

The former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, who also performed in WWE as Aldo Montoya, has retired from wrestling several times but has continued to make appearances on the independent circuit. His career included an eight-time run as WWE Hardcore Champion and a reign as a two-time ECW World Tag Team Champion alongside Lance Storm. You can see Polaco’s post below.
