Former WWE Intercontinental Champion teases return at the Royal Rumble

Several readers sent word that former WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett (Stu Bennett) seemed to tease a Royal Rumble appearance on his Instagram account.

Bennett joked that his abs would be back in time for the Rumble. I’ll just say that anything is possible but I highly doubt that he would spoil a Rumble surprise so I would just chalk this up to Barrett messing around with fans on Instagram.

These days Bennett is doing acting work and he is the on-screen General Manager for Defiant Wrestling in the UK. Although he chose to walk away from wrestling, he hasn’t closed the door on it and has said that he would wrestle again when the time is right.

I’d like to be under the sea, in an octopus’s garden in the shade. ? EDIT: To those complaining about my abs, don’t worry they’ll be back by The Rumble ?
