WWE continues to lock down talent down to contracts, including past stars.
Recently, WWE has been signing former stars to Legend deals. Recent talent to do so include Jesse Ventura, RVD, Jacqueline, Jesse Ventura, The Headbangers, Mick Foley, Victoria, The Godfather, and The Dudley Boyz.
The WWE Legends deal allows WWE to use stars’ likenesses for various purposes, including video games and merchandise. However, such a deal does not prevent the talent from working elsewhere.
Hornswoggle (Dylan Postl) is the latest to sign. He announced that he signed the deal last week. He worked for WWE for ten years, from 2006 to 2016, before making various appearances from 2018 to 2020.Â
He was initially revealed to be Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son before being paired with Finlay and 3MB.Â
