We would like to send best wishes to former WWE referee/official Dave Hebner.

NASCAR's Hermie Sadler noted on Twitter that he recently saw Dave and asked friends and fans to send some positive vibes his way. Nothing was said about what he is dealing with but it is clear that his health is declining.

Sadler also tagged a bunch of names in the wrestling business including Mickie James, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Gail Kim, Sgt. Slaughter, The Undertaker, Scott 2 Hotty, and Rikishi. All of those names would have worked with Hebner at some point in their careers.

Dave Hebner is the twin brother of Earl Hebner. Dave got his start in the late 1970s as a referee for the WWF where he was part of many historic matches, including Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III. He was also in the famous twin referee angle on The Main Event in 1988 that let to Hulk Hogan being screwed out of the WWF Championship and Andre The Giant handling the belt over to Ted DiBiase. That show was viewed by 33 million people, an all-time viewership record for pro wrestling in the United States. Hebner worked in WWF/E on and off camera until 2005 and then had a brief run in TNA Wrestling.
