Current TNA star AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla in WWE’s Hit Row faction, recently opened up on social media about his experiences with creative expression during his time with WWE.
Francis alleged that his attempts to contribute creatively, specifically by producing his own diss tracks for feuds, were met with resistance and even earned him backstage “heat.”
On X, Francis stated he spent years making these tracks intended to enhance storylines. He revealed he “was not only told NOT to drop some but actually got ‘HEAT’ for it.”
As an example, Francis shared lyrics from a diss track aimed at LA Knight, where he takes credit for Knight’s transition from the Max Dupri persona. Check it out below:
I literally made a music video every single week for YEARS, no team, self written, self-recorded, self-mixed, self-filmed, self-edited, self-directed and was not only told NOT to drop some but actually got “HEAT” for it. Very interesting. 💰
