TNA color commentator Matthew Rehwoldt, known to WWE fans as Aiden English, announced on X that he is inspired to wrestle again and is making himself available for bookings.
“Book me,” Rehwoldt wrote. “I’m inspired to wrestle again. I want to have fun. I want to share things I know with up-and-coming talent. I want to try things. Let’s do this.”
Rehwoldt included his booking email and a photo of himself, signaling he is ready to get back in the ring.
Rehwoldt has been one half of TNA’s commentary team alongside Tom Hannifan since 2022, and the pair signed contract extensions with TNA in August 2025. He joined TNA in 2021, initially working as a wrestler before transitioning to the color commentary role in early 2022, replacing D’Lo Brown. The duo has become one of TNA’s longest-tenured announcing teams and has been calling the product through its move to AMC.
In a recent interview, Rehwoldt said he views the commentary booth as his lasting legacy in the business. “Sitting behind this microphone, I think, will be my lasting legacy in this business. I think it is my true superpower,” Rehwoldt said. “My superpower is making people excited about the things that excite me.”
Before TNA, Rehwoldt was signed to WWE from 2012 to 2020. He performed on the NXT and SmackDown brands as Aiden English, where he was part of The Vaudevillains tag team with Simon Gotch, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. He later became known for his “Drama King” persona and his on-screen pairing with Rusev as part of “Rusev Day,” which became one of the most organically popular acts in WWE in 2018.
