Former WWE Star Debra Reveals Her Impressive Post-Wrestling Career

Debra Marshall has been doing big things since leaving WWE.

She is best known for her time with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) between 1995 and 1998 as Queen Debra and her run in WWE between 1998 and 2002 as simply Debra.

Debra began her career in professional wrestling in 1995, accompanying her husband, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, to the ring. In WWE, she managed Jeff Jarrett before feuding with Sable for the WWF Women’s Championship, which she won in 1999. Debra later became associated with Steve Austin, both on-screen and in real life, as they were married from 2000 to 2003. She left WWE in 2002.

While appearing at Monopoly Events’ For The Love of Wrestling, Debra shared what she is doing nowadays.

“Well, after I left wrestling, I ended up going to University of Alabama, and I received a Bachelor [degree], and then I received a master of science in criminal justice. From the University of Alabama, and now I currently work for the District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. So it’s been an interesting journey from wrestling to what I do now.”
