ACH, real name Albert Christian Hardie Jr, has announced his retirement from pro wrestling.
He did so in a short statement posted on Instagram where he wrote the following:
“No need for the dramatic or emotional word play. As of today I will officially step away from professional wrestling. Thank you all for the support and love.”
He broke into the business in 2007 where he worked for various promotions such as ROH, NJPW, Chikara, CZW, Dragon Gate, Impact Wrestling, MLW, PWG, EVOLVE and more.
In 2019, he worked in WWE NXT as Jordan Myles. He won the NXT Breakout Tournament after beating the likes of Angel Garza and Cameron Grimes to earn a title shot against then-NXT Champion Adam Cole, but came up short in his efforts to become the top champion on the brand.
In October of that year, WWE launched a Jordan Myles t-shirt that resembled a blackface design as his name was surrounded by the shape of a mouth. He publicly ripped the company for doing so and announced that he had quit the promotion. WWE later announced his departure.
He would later work on the independent wrestling scene and in NJPW last year.
