Former WWE Star Hints At In-Ring Return

Alex Riley has teased the possibility of returning to the ring for one final match, posting a photo of himself inside a wrestling ring on Instagram with a caption hinting that his in-ring career may not be fully behind him yet.

Riley has not competed in a professional wrestling match since 2023, when he wrestled under his real name, Kevin Kiley. His WWE career came to an end in April 2016 following an extended run that included time on the main roster and a later stint in NXT.

The Instagram post offered no specific details about where or when a potential return might take place, but the photo and the caption were enough to generate immediate fan interest in the idea.

During his WWE tenure, Riley was perhaps best known for his run as The Miz’s protege on the main roster before eventually breaking away and pursuing a singles career of his own. He later transitioned into a broadcasting role after his wrestling career wound down, becoming a familiar voice for WWE’s developmental programming before stepping away from that role as well.

No official announcement regarding a return match has been made at this time.
