Former WWE Star Is Open To Making A Return To The Company

Many WWE stars who depart from the company go in different directions, whether to other promotions, work the independent scene, or retire. Some stars can return to the company for another run or at least a one-off appearance to finish off their careers.

Layla is open to returning to WWE. She first appeared on WWE’s Diva Search in 2006 before being signed by the company. The following year, she was part of the Extreme Exposé dance troupe with Kelly Kelly and Brooke Adams.

Layla found success with Michelle McCool as part of LayCool. In May 2010, she became a Women’s Champion. Two years later, she won the Divas Title before retiring in 2015.

While appearing on the No Name Wrestling podcast, Layla discussed a potential return to WWE.

Layla stated, “Yeah, now there is. Before, absolutely 100% no. I was not open to anything. I wanted a break. I wanted to get away. But now, absolutely. Before I get too old and I can’t come back and do anything, yeah, one more time. I would honestly come back to do a Lay-Cool reunion [with Michelle McCool]. If that is possible and that is something that could happen, why not? It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. We had a lot of fans when we were together. Lay-Cool was a stable for a while….we were together for what, two and a half years, I think so. I would love to reunite with my best friend just one more time.”
