Former WWE star Kristal Marshall is more than willing to step into the squared circle one more time.
For years, WWE has brought back former stars for the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble Matches. The event is fastly approaching, with the 2023 edition in late January.
While speaking in an interview with Just Alyx, Marshall spoke about whether she gets the bug to step back into the ring.
“All the time. Especially a lot more lately. People message me all the time like, ‘Oh girl you look good. You should get back in the ring.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I should get back in the ring.’”
Marshall was asked about potentially entering the Royal Rumble.
“Oh, absolutely. I’ve been waiting on this call. I’ve been waiting for this call for the past few years. I’m in the best shape of my life. I would love to have one more chance to walk down that runway and hear the fans pop. Like there’s nothing better than that. Yeah, Hunter [Triple H], call me. Call your girl. Make it happen.”
Marshall participated in the 2005 WWE Raw Diva Search, placing fourth. Marshall was quickly given a development contract even though she did not receive the Diva Search contract. In 2006, she participated in her first feud on the main roster with Jillian Hall’s heel campaign.
In February 2007, Marshall started a storyline in which she played a close friend of Vickie Guerrero and flirted with then-SmackDown GM Teddy Long.
She left WWE in 2007, then moved to TNA Wrestling from 2009 to 2010. She and Bobby Lashley have two children. Check out the interview here:
