Former WWE star is willing to accept Bobby Lashley’s open challenge for WrestleMania

Bobby Lashley was originally slated to wrestle Bray Wyatt at WWE WrestleMania this weekend, but due to an illness that Wyatt is dealing with, WWE had to nix the bout.

Lashley won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday Night SmackDown. After the show, Lashley took to Twitter to make it clear that he wants a match at WrestleMania and is willing to take on anyone. Chris Adonis, also known as former WWE star Chris Master, wants to take Lashley up on his offer.

Lashley posted a video with the caption, “I’ll say it once again…I AM FREE SATURDAY & SUNDAY!! You can’t have #WrestleMania without the All-Mighty. You just can’t! Whoever wants to test me, step up! @WWE #SmackDown.”

Adonis responded with, “Fact is, no matter who they choose, nobody would be able to put on a better match at this point in their career than me. That’s the sad part in this not being a reality.”

Adonis is known for his” The Masterlock” finisher, a full nelson hold, where he would challenge several wrestlers to the Masterlock Challenge and reward the winner with a prize if they could break it. The Masterlock Challenge storyline ended after Lashley broke it in 2007.

While speaking with WrestlingNews.co’s own Steve Fall, Adonis previously revealed that he made a pitch to people in WWE for a Hurt Lock-Master Lock feud with Lashley.

Adonis will challenge Tyrus for the NWA Championship at NWA 312 in Chicago on April 7th.
