Former WWE star Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart has passed away
We are sad to report that former WWE World Tag Team Champion Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart has passed away at 63 years old after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
“It is with a sad heart, that I share with you the passing of a long time friend and colleague, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Your thoughts and prayers for the family are appreciated!” Cauliflower Alley Club president Brian Blair said on Twitter.
Neidhart was one of the most popular acts in the 1980’s as part of The Hart Foundation with Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Neidhart later teamed with Owen Hart and would later work for WCW before returning to WWE as part of the revamped Hart Foundation in 1997 alongside Bret, Owen, Brian Pillman, and “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith.
Younger fans may have been more familiar with him thanks to his appearances alongside daughter Natalya on the E! Network series Total Divas.
On behalf of everyone here at WrestlingNews.co, we send along condolences to Neidhart’s friends and family.
