Former WWE star Kairi Sane suffers injury in first singles match since 2020

Kairi Sane, now going by the ring name of KAIRI, is once again wrestling as she is working under the Stardom banner following her departure from WWE.

On Saturday, she made her return to in-ring competition at the Stardom World Climax ‘The Best’ event when she teamed with Mayu Iwatani to defeat Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka.

Sane worked her first singles match since 2020 on Sunday against Starlight Kid where the former WWE star went over. However, following the match at a press conference, she noted that she ruptured her left eardrum during the bout. Sane described it as every move she did, she had more weight and her ear felt like it was on fire.
