Former WWE Star, Longtime Friend Of Hulk Hogan Gives An Update On Hogan’s Health

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the health of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, with longtime friends Bubba The Love Sponge and Jacques Rougeau offering vastly different accounts of his current condition. While Bubba claims the situation is dire, Rougeau insists that Hogan is recovering well from a recent operation.

Bubba The Love Sponge’s Claims

On his radio show, Bubba The Love Sponge continued to double down on his reports that Hogan’s health is in serious decline. While he is no longer claiming Hogan is near death, he described a situation where the wrestling legend has been transported home to be kept “comfortable.”

“Here’s what I got from my security guard. That he was transported to his house, but he’s in a hospital bed,” Bubba stated. “They’ve gone as far as they can go at the hospital. Now they’re keeping him comfortable.” When asked if Hogan was on hospice, Bubba responded, “That’s not the words that were used… He’s not in such dire needs that he needs to be in close proximity to an emergency facility. Like he’s stable enough to be at home.”

Bubba also detailed the extreme measures allegedly taken to transport Hogan home privately. “The security guard said the measures that they went to make sure nobody saw him transported in an ambulance to his home was like Michael Jackson type stuff,” he said. “My source says, allegedly, it was all done through like the loading docks, with unmarked ambulances followed by an escort… That happened in the middle of the night.”

Jacques Rougeau’s Rebuttal

In direct contrast to Bubba’s report, former WWF/WWE star and longtime Hogan friend Jacques Rougeau took to his Facebook page to shut down the severe rumors. Rougeau stated that he had been in contact with Hogan’s son, Nick, and that the situation is not as dire as it is being portrayed.

“For all of you spreading rumors about my Man HULK Hogan being between life and death you are wrong,” Rougeau wrote. “He’s recuperating slowly from a neck operation but it’s going well, I just talked with his son Nick and he told me all is well, he’s getting better.”

Hulk Hogan has been out of the public eye for several weeks, with his last known appearance being in May. The conflicting reports from two of his closest associates have left fans with an unclear picture of the 72-year-old legend’s true health status.
