Former WWE Star Marc Mero Announces Engagement

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Marc Mero has announced his engagement to his partner, Malissa. Mero shared the news on his social media platforms.

In an emotional post revealing that Malissa accepted his proposal, Mero paid tribute to their relationship and the impact she has had on his life. “Malissa, from the moment we met, you’ve made my world brighter in ways I didn’t know were possible,” Mero wrote. “You make me feel seen, loved, and better every single day”.

Mero expressed his desire to spend his future with Malissa. “I’ve thought a lot about this moment because there’s nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my life with you,” he stated. “You’re my best friend, my love, and my future”.

This marks Mero’s third marriage. He was previously married to former WWE Women’s Champion Sable (Rena Lesnar) from 1994 to 2004. He later married Darlene Spezzi in 2009, with that marriage ending in divorce in 2019.

Marc Mero made a name for himself in both WCW, where he performed as Johnny B. Badd, and WWE. Since retiring from full-time wrestling, Mero has focused on motivational speaking engagements through his Champion of Choices organization, often sharing his personal story of overcoming adversity.
