Since Triple H took over as WWE’s head of creative, he has brought back several stars, and he’s looking to bring back more stars.
As previously reported, WWE has discussed various names about bringing back, including Jonah, formerly known as Bronson Reed in WWE.
Jonah was part of WWE NXT from 2018 to 2021 and is a former NXT North American Champion. However, despite an impressive push and rumors of a main roster call-up, Reed was released in August 2021. Jonah has since worked for Impact Wrestling and has found success in NJPW.
While speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Jonah has received an offer from WWE and is now deciding whether he wants to stay with NJPW or go back to WWE.
“Jonah certainly has an offer from WWE, and he’s got to make a decision. Will it be New Japan [Pro Wrestling] or WWE? He’s got a great push in New Japan, and you know, it’s going to be his call.”
