Former WWE Star Was Reportedly Backstage At NXT

TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim has reportedly been backstage at recent WWE NXT tapings. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the former multi-time champion has been at the WWE Performance Center on more than one occasion lately.

The report notes that when WWE sources were asked about her presence, they confirmed she was there but stated that she is not officially with the company “as of this moment.”

This news comes after Kim was fired from her longtime backstage role as a producer for TNA Wrestling earlier this year, making her one of the most high-profile free agents in the industry. Her departure from TNA reportedly sparked immediate interest from both WWE and AEW.

The Fightful report adds that WWE has been interested in bringing Kim on board since she became available. For now, her presence at the Performance Center has been kept very quiet, and it remains to be seen if it will lead to an official role with the company.
