A 4-time World Tag Team Champion is returning to WWE to take on a backstage role with the company.
During an interview with Patric Laprade for TVA Sports, Sylvain Grenier says he is going to be assigned to Raw or SmackDown in the near future as an agent/producer and he will be going on the road for live events.
The wheels were set in motion for Grenier’s return to the company when WWE was in Montreal last April and he met with Kevin Dunn. That meeting, which was not intended to be for a job, ended up with Grenier being invited to attend the first SmackDown on FOX in Los Angeles and they were able to come to terms on a deal at that time.
The 42-year old from Quebec, Canada is probably best known for his year as the tag team partner of Renee Dupree as part of La Resistance.
