On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair cut a backstage promo on being left off of SummerSlam.
Flair called herself the “Queen of all Eras” and she demanded to be at SummerSlam. She also said that she would prove why she is the greatest female Superstar of all-time.
SummerSlam will take place in Toronto, Ontario, which just happens to be the hometown of WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus. Flair’s promo on SmackDown Live made it clear that her opponent will likely be someone from the past.
I should note that there was talk of Lita and Stratus wrestling as a tag team against Bayley and Sasha Banks for the Women’s Tag Team Titles earlier this year but those plans changed. Status has been open about wrestling again on occasion.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Stratus has been in talks with WWE and she would likely wrestle at SummerSlam so all signs point to a Status vs. Flair match
SummerSlam will happen on Sunday, August 11 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
