After initially finding success in WWE NXT and showing the company what he could do, Bo Dallas fell into being used as a mid-card talent on the main roster.
His last bout came on November 13, 2019, at a WWE house show while working a six-man tag team match. That December, he had announced that he was going on a life-changing expedition and wasn’t brought back to television only to be let go by WWE in April 2021 after being with the company for 13 years.
Dallas has not been seen inside a wrestling ring or even made public wrestling-related appearances since then, but that will be changing this year. While doing a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, the former WWE NXT Champion provided an update on his in-ring future. He’s been busy with other business ventures since his release but plans to get back into the ring in the next few months.
“Not saying I’m done with wrestling or that’s what I’ve been saying for the past year and now that I’ve got that squared away and that’s in the works, I can get back to my passion. I will be back in the ring in the next couple of months” revealed Bo Dallas, “And that’s a guarantee because I don’t make promises I don’t deliver on.”
Dallas responded to a fan comment that noted he belongs in AEW. He said that AEW is not out of the realm of possibility and while he appreciates that comment, he’s not even sure what to do with him right now. Even though he hasn’t been wrestling, Dallas has kept himself in great shape:
Something is cooking. 😎
