Former WWE superstar Aiden English has revealed his new name.
English departed from WWE after being released due to budget cuts last April. Before his release, he had been working as a commentator for WWE 205 Live. English will commentate NJPW’s Resurgence pay-per-view in Los Angeles, California on August 14. He also made his debut at recent Impact Wrestling TV tapings.
While English had previously taken bookings under the name of ‘Matt Morris,’ that isn’t the ring name he will be using. Instead, he’s going by ‘The Drama King’ Matthew Rehwoldt, which is also his legal name.
Impact star Matt Cardona replied with a tweet saying he is happy English decided on a different name. It turns out he chose the Matt Morris name at first due to it being his mother’s maiden name.
This led to him responding to Cardona by giving support to Nick Gage ahead of his match with Cardona on Saturday, July 24 at the GCW Homecoming Night 1 event.
