Former WWE star set to appear at Survivor Series for The Undertaker’s farewell

WWE appears to be inviting some names from the past to attend The Undertaker’s farewell at the Survivor Series.

Super Luchas is reporting that former WWE star Savio Vega will be at the pay-per-view. Vega was one of Taker’s closest friends during the late ’90s.

Vega was one of the members of the Bone Street Krew, a group of wrestlers that traveled together from the mid to late 90s. The group also consisted of Yokozuna, The Godfather, Henry Godwin, Phineas Godwin, Brian “Crush” Adams, Paul Bearer and Mr. Fuji.

Super Luchas reports:

“The Puerto Rican Mayor, who participated in WWE as Kwang and Savio Vega is set to return to WWE to be present for the retirement of his great friend The Undertaker. Taker will end a great run exactly 30 years after his first [WWE] appearance at Survivor Series 1990.”

Survivor Series will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, November 22nd. As part of the festivities, WWE has been airing Undertaker-related specials on the WWE Network.

For those of you wondering, we have heard nothing regarding Taker possibly wrestling one more match. The most likely next step for him is a Hall of Fame induction next year.
