WWE has signed another former star to a Legends deal.
That star is Victoria, Lisa Marie Varon, who worked for the company from 2000-2009 before going to TNA Wrestling from 2009-2013. Since 2021, she has made various appearances for both promotions.
While in WWE, she held the Women’s Title twice before winning the Knockouts Title in TNA five times and was a one-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She is widely considered a pioneer of women’s wrestling.
Victoria last wrestled in WWE in 2021, working the women’s Royal Rumble. She took to Twitter to note that she will be under a Legends deal. As far as getting back in the ring, she said, “Never say never.”
She wrote, “ ANNOUNCEMENT Here it is, my big announcement! Earlier this week I signed a WWE Nostalgic contract. I am so excited and honored that @wwe reached out to me about this! It’s a true honor to be part of the WWE Universe again. This doesn’t mean I will be hopping back into the ring (but never say never!). It does mean I will be included in future things such as video games and maybe some new official merch! Big thank you to #WWE and all my fans and supporters, I hope you are excited about this as I am!”
