Former WWE Star Teases Comeback After Calling Out AEW Wrestler

Carmella has hinted at a potential return to professional wrestling after taking exception to what she described as the theft of her finisher on AEW Collision.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion reacted on social media after independent wrestler B3CCA used what appeared to be a version of Carmella’s Code of Silence submission against Kris Statlander on this week’s Collision. Carmella did not mince words in her response.

“Hmmm. There’s a difference between homage and theft. I didn’t retire, I had two babies. Might have to come back and show these bitches how it’s really done,” Carmella wrote on social media.

Carmella has been out of action since March 2023, with her last match taking place at a Road to WrestleMania house show at Madison Square Garden, where she teamed with Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Piper Niven. She remains listed on WWE’s official roster page, though her contract status has not been publicly confirmed and she has not appeared on television in over two years.

No indication has been given as to whether any potential return would come in WWE or elsewhere.
