Former WWE star teases return to the ring after three-year hiatus



It looks like former WWE star Ryback is healthy and ready to make his in-ring return.

The former Intercontinental Champion said on Twitter that he will be returning soon. He did not say where he would be wrestling but WWE seems to be out of the question since he has had a lot of negative things to say about his experiences with them.

Last year, Ryback said on his podcast that he would be interested in wrestling some of the top stars in AEW. He said, "Kenny Omega and me, I think, would have great chemistry together. Cody is on top of his game right now. I think there’s big money in that being visited down the line. Obviously Jericho. He’s my favorite top guy I worked with..."

In 2019, Ryback told Chris Van Vliet that he was working on getting healthy again and he loves everything that AEW has been doing.

Ryback hasn't wrestled for a major wrestling promotion since his exit from WWE in 2016. He wrestled on independent shows from a couple of years after his WWE run but the last time he stepped in the ring was in 2018.
