It looks like former WWE star Buddy Murphy has his sights set on a surprise appearance on AEW Dynamite this Wednesday night… or at least it appears that way on Twitter.
Murphy tweeted an image of a joker card on his Twitter account this afternoon. That implies that he might be the “Joker” entrant during the Casino Ladder Match this Wednesday night. AEW’s “Casino” style matches typically include one surprise entrant in the “Joker” spot.
For what it’s worth, there have been hints given out by Impact Wrestling that Murphy might be heading there. Impact executive Scott D’Amore recently hinted that we might we might see him and possibly the former Braun Stromwan show up at Bound For Glory.
Murphy became a free agent at the end of August and he revealed that he would be using the name Buddy Matthews going forward. It was reported in July that AEW was deeply interested in signing Murphy/Matthews.
During AEW Rampage, it was announced that PAC, Andrade El Idolo. Jon Moxley, Lance Archer, Orange Cassidy, and Matt Hardy would be part of the Casino Ladder Match happening this Wednesday on Dynamite.
