Former WWE Women’s Champion Lisa Marie Varon (fka Victoria), who signed a WWE Legends contract last year, recently discussed her current relationship with the company and the perks of the deal. In an exclusive interview with SoCal Val for WrestlingNews.co on the “Velvet Ropes” YouTube show, Varon expressed her excitement over being included in the WWE 2K25 video game and addressed the constant fan discussion about a potential Hall of Fame induction.
Life as a WWE Legend
Varon, who has been making appearances at conventions and interacting with fans, spoke about what it means to be officially back in the WWE family under a Legends deal. The contract allows WWE to produce new merchandise and include her in various projects, re-introducing her to a new generation of fans. She made it clear that while she is not returning to the ring on a full-time basis, she is thrilled with her current role.
Return to Video Games
The new contract has already resulted in new opportunities, including her long-awaited return to a WWE video game for the first time in over a decade. “I got new trading cards out,” she stated. “I’m gonna be in the WWE 2025 video game. Are you kidding me? This is huge to me.”
Putting Hall of Fame Rumors to Rest
Varon also addressed the persistent question from fans about a potential WWE Hall of Fame induction. She stated that while she appreciates the sentiment, she is more than happy with her current status and doesn’t want people to overlook the significance of the Legends deal itself. “I think that’s the number one, ‘why the hell are you not in the Hall of Fame?’ And I’m like, ‘You guys are more upset than I am,'” she said. “I’m like, it gets, it’s just, I hear it all the time… just be happy for me getting the legends contract.”
No Bitterness, Only Support
She made it clear that she is not bitter about not being in the Hall of Fame and is always happy to support her peers who get inducted. “When my coworkers or my friends in the business that get inducted, I always want to try to show up and support. I’m not bitter. I’m not upset,” she said. For now, fans can look forward to seeing the beloved former champion represented in new WWE merchandise and immortalized once again in the WWE 2K25 video game.
