Former WWE stars Matt and Jeff Hardy set to team up for the first time in 3 years

The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) are set to share the squared circle once again. Big Time Wrestling announced today the former WWE stars are set to team up once again at their March 12 event, which will mark the first time they’ve done so since April 2019 when they were in WWE.

After returning to WWE in 2017 at WrestleMania, they had a successful run as a tag team before being separated and becoming singles stars again. Matt left WWE in March 2020 after not renewing his contract to join AEW while Jeff stayed with the company until he was released last month following WWE sending him home from the road.

There was an incident at a live event in Corpus Christi, Texas where Hardy left the ring after giving the hot tag to Drew McIntyre and going through the crowd.  Jeff declined WWE’s offer for help and to go to rehab so they released him. Since then, the former WWE Champion has done an acoustic meet and greet tour. It’s believed Hardy will join AEW when his 90-non-compete expires.
