The WWE roster is bigger than it’s ever been and although ratings are down, it seems like more former Superstars are hoping to be affiliated with the company these days because WWE has made great strides softening their image and expanding into the mainstream.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool seems happy being retired but she hasn’t ruled out one more match. McCool was in the women’s Royal Rumble in January and she looked great and at just 38 years old, she looks like she could fit in with the current roster.
In response to a fan on Twitter, McCool made it clear that she would love a match with Charlotte Flair and all it takes is a phone call from WWE to make it happen.

This isn’t the first time she’s referenced the possibility of this match. Last November, Flair first tossed out the idea about a match with McCool and the feeling was mutual. McCool said that she has been dying for someone to ask. Click here to see their Twitter exchange from last year.
If the rumored Flair vs. Ronda Rousey is still set for WrestleMania 35 then it’s not possible to do the match with McCool on that show. However, who said that the match couldn’t happen at SummerSlam or the Royal Rumble in January?
The 2019 Royal Rumble will take place inside Chase Field in Phoenix so WWE will need to load that show up with as many top mathces (and a dream match or two) if they want to sell out the baseball stadium.
