Former WWE/TNA Star Has Landed A Movie Role

A former WWE/TNA star has landed a movie role. Cameras are rolling in California on the action-thriller “The Caretaker,” as reported by Deadline. The cast for the film includes Avaryana Rose (“Bitter Souls”), Robert Bronzi (“Death Kiss”), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (“The A-Team”), Daniel Baldwin (“John Carpenter’s Vampires”), and former WWE and TNA wrestler Sawyer “Madman” Fulton.

“The Caretaker” features Bronzi as the film’s namesake, a recluse who guards a deserted ghost town tourist attraction. When a young woman (Rose) is targeted by violent criminals attempting to kidnap her for a ruthless crime boss (Baldwin), the Caretaker must protect her. Jackson co-stars as the Caretaker’s loyal friend and partner-in-crime, while Fulton’s role remains undisclosed at this time. Details regarding the film’s release date and distribution are forthcoming.

Sawyer Fulton, whose real name is Jacob Southwick, began his professional wrestling career in 2012 when he signed with WWE. He was assigned to their developmental brand, NXT, where he initially competed as an enhancement talent. Fulton later formed a tag team with Angelo Dawkins, but they failed to gain much traction. In 2016, Fulton joined the heel stable Sanity, managed by Eric Young. This group found success, with Fulton and Alexander Wolfe winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, Fulton suffered a torn pectoral muscle that sidelined him for several months. Upon his return, he was replaced in Sanity by Killian Dain and ultimately released from WWE in 2017. After his departure, he wrestled on the independent circuit as Madman Fulton, notably joining Ohio Versus Everything (oVe) in Impact Wrestling.
