Former WWE writer defends recent Raw criticisms

WWE has received a lot of criticism lately for the quality of Monday Night Raw. Prior to this week, the previous two weeks of Raw were said to be some of the worst in recent memory. Coincidentally, it was reported Vince McMahon re-wrote both of those shows by himself at last-second. The reasoning for his re-writing of last week’s show as due to the fact that Raw was in Houston, Texas.

The city was mourning the loss of local former President Of The United States George H.W. Bush. McMahon wanted to write a more positive show to lift the somber mood of the city. Amongst all the criticism WWE has received as of late, former WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs took to Twitter and came to the defense of his former employers. Here’s what he had to say:

“Writing a 3 hour wrestling tv show every single week is f*ckin hard. Everybody is allowed to their opinion. I take zero offense to it. But one of the 1st things I learned writing is that it’s easy to point out the problems. The job is to come up with solutions.”
