Four Championships Change Hands At Chaotic NJPW Dominion Event

Sunday’s NJPW Dominion event was defined by the massive expansion of the heel faction House of Torture and a series of major championship changes. By the end of the night, the group had three new members and four different titles had new owners.

The House of Torture’s ranks grew with the additions of Don Fale (formerly Bad Luck Fale), Chase Owens, and the returning DOUKI. Owens’ induction came after he betrayed his Bullet Club War Dogs teammates, helping House of Torture secure a win. The faction’s new members immediately made an impact, helping EVIL defeat David Finlay in a brutal Dog Collar Chain Deathmatch.

The night also saw a major championship upheaval:

IWGP Jr. Tag Team Titles: The newly-formed team of SHO and DOUKI defeated Master Wato and YOH.
IWGP Tag Team Titles: Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Great-O-Khan and Callum Newman.
NEVER Openweight Title: Boltin Oleg defeated Konosuke Takeshita.
IWGP Global Title: Gabe Kidd defeated Yota Tsuji for his first taste of singles gold in NJPW.

In the night’s main event, Hirooki Goto successfully retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Shingo Takagi.
