Vince McMahon has the top of the WrestleMania card done and that includes a match for The Undertaker. Despite previous talks about doing John Cena vs. The Undertaker if Cena was able to recover in time, it looks like there are new plans for The Undertaker. This could be an indication that the company doesn’t think Cena will be ready. Undertaker has a match and the names are not Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman or John Cena. As noted, at one point, there was talk of doing Undertaker vs. Strowman but those plans were scrapped after the negative reaction from fans on social media.
There’s no word on who is facing Undertaker but the word is that it’s someone that is not on the roster right now. Could that be someone like Goldberg? He has expressed interest in doing one more match in WWE. Could it be Sting? If Sting has recovered from his neck injury then I could see them doing Sting vs. Undertaker in a retirement match with Taker getting the win.
If the opponent is Sting then he would be only the second person in WWE to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame and then wrestling on the next night at WrestleMania.
