Multiple WWE stars injured, RK-Bro tournament delayed
WWE announced on their social media accounts that the finals of the RK-Bro tournament have been rescheduled for two weeks from now.
It was explained that injuries suffered by The Street Profits and The Mysterios are the reason for the delay. There’s no word on the nature of the injuries but we know that Angelo Dakins wrestled singles matches against AJ Styles at house shows over the weekend. Rey and Dominik Mysterio did not wrestle at the house shows over the weekend.
Tonight’s show will have Bobby Lashley addressing his attack last week on Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and WWE Champion Big E. Presumably, that attack was the setup for Lashley being inserted into the WWE Championship match on Day 1. WWE has been doing four-way matches with Lashley in them at the house shows so that appears to be the direction they are headed in.
As of this writing, nothing else has been announced yet for tonight’s show.
