A deal has been reached by FOX and Dish Network/Sling TV to bring FOX and sister channels back, which means fans who subscribe to those services can watch the draft episode of SmackDown on Friday night.
The dispute forced fans to miss the FOX premiere of Friday Night SmackDown and some college football games and the MLB Playoffs on Saturday or to find alternate ways to watch their favorite FOX programming.
As of today, FOX, FS1, FS2 and all associated networks have been restored.
“We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Dish and Sling, and they are immediately restoring their subscribers’ access to the Fox networks and television stations,” a FOX spokesman said in a statement.
“We appreciate our customers’ patience as we worked to reach a long-term agreement that restores the Fox networks and local broadcast stations,” Dish said in their statement.
The deal was reached just in time for FOX’s slate of NFL games.
